Spreading Awareness: Child Abuse Prevention Month 2021

Updated: Jan 31, 2022

Families, service providers, and communities work tirelessly year-round to protect and nurture children and promote their well-being. For nearly 40 years, National Child Abuse Prevention Month has played an important supporting role by increasing awareness and educating the public about child maltreatment prevention, and as usual, A Child's Place, PA was proud to participate.

This April, ACP celebrated Child Abuse Prevention Month by sporting our best blue to show support for #WearBlueDay with other agencies across the country, in addition to arranging a coloring contest for the children who visit us.

The Children's Advocacy Centers of Pennsylvania also invited ACP to contribute to a digital mural with other CACs across the state. Thank you to all the wonderful people and agencies who participated in spreading awareness for Child Abuse Awareness Month this year!
