Need Help During COVID-19?

Updated: May 11, 2021

It’s more important now more than ever to be able to support families, as most are under an even higher level of stress than usual. At a time when families are desperate for support, we’re finding new ways to deliver that to you.

ACP is continuing to offer forensic and medical evaluations at this time via virtual platforms. Appointments can still be scheduled as usual. However, clients are required to physically come to their county site as sessions are conducted via a virtual platform while practitioners are in a separate room.

To schedule an appointment, please visit our contact page.

Foster client services are also available in person as well at our Allegheny County main site. To schedule this, please call Dr. Karen Morris, 412-232-5833, or Connie Shope, CRNP, 412-232-7308.

This post is a good reminder of how many families struggled with basic needs during COVID and how important community support became, especially when routines, school access and childcare were disrupted. Resources for food, mental health and learning made a real difference for parents trying to keep things steady for their kids. For those who research public health and want their work to reach more people, Open Access Medical Journals USA can make findings easier to access, but the real impact comes from helping communities stay informed and supported when things get unpredictable.

The discussion here perfectly captures the high stress of trying to manage everything when life gets overwhelming. My passion is community activism, but the crucial Mathematics exam is consuming every hour I need for organizing local aid. To ensure my academic success, I've decided to pay to take my Mathematics exam; this will free me up to focus on my true commitment.

The discussion about needing support during high-stress times, like the COVID-19 crisis, perfectly reflects the constant balancing act many people face. My personal struggle is exactly that: I need to commit fully to my community theatre group, but the demanding research for my final dissertation has stopped all rehearsals. To manage this academic burden, I realized the most efficient solution is finding a cheap Dissertation writing Service to help me secure my degree and free up my evenings for the stage.

"Your COVID-19 support initiatives resonate deeply. As a public health PhD student researching pandemic responses, I became so involved in volunteer contact tracing that my dissertation introduction stalled. Deciding to write my dissertation introduction through professional support freed me to continue community aid work while ensuring my academic documentation of this historic crisis maintained proper scholarly framing—sometimes crisis response requires balancing immediate action and long-term research."
